Jan Carr of Denton, Texas has been painting for over 38 years. She began with Tole decorative style in oils. About 20 years ago, she changed to Freestyle drawing with watercolors for a complete new look. She has attended multiple workshops to refine the desire to show her views and observations of the world around her.
Jan currently uses bright colors to create a vibrant mood for the viewer. Those seeing her work feel great exuberance for the impressionistic lines. Jan is not a photo realist artist. This leaves the viewer to generate imagination in the painting.
Jan and her husband are world travelers which has allowed Jan to bring us international views from the world over.
